Construction of Balanced Orthogonal Nonseparable Multiwavelets

Abstract: A general method for constructing bidimensional orthogonal nonseparable multiwavelets is presented. Moreover, this construction method can be extended to the construction of n-dimensional multiwavelets. In addition, we also study some properties of the multiwavelets such as balancing. Finally, we give an example to illustrate our method to construct bidimensional nonseparable compactly supported orthogonal multiwavelets.
