Quasilinear Hyperbolic Conservation Laws with Relaxation

Abstract: In this paper,we investigate the relaxation phenomenon for quasilinear hyper- bolic conservation laws,and obtain global smooth solutions and the life span of classical solutions to its Canchy problem.These results shows that the relaxation admits the effects of dissipation.
