Abstract

Abstract: In this paper, we use Ditzian-Totik modulus to study the pointwise approximation for the linear combinations of Szasz-type operators, and obtain the direct and converse theorem and the characterization of the pointwise approximation for the linear combinations of Szasz-type operators.
