Abstract: This  is  a  survey  on  several  problems  on  approximation  theory  in  no- rmed   linear    spaces.1.Discuss   conditions    on    hyperplanes   or    2-codim   sub-  spaces   which   to    be   the    proximinal   sets.2.Exhibit    proximinal   sets    on   b.  s.a.3.Find    the    values     of    the     metric    projection    bounds(MPB)of     some  particular   spaces,such    as    I,.4.Introduce   some    new   results    on    bounds   of  linear   projections    onto    finite-dimension    subspaces    or    hyperplanes.By   the way,we   suggest   some   open  problems.
