    In this paper,we introduce a polynomial sequence in K[x],in which two neigh- bor polynomials satisfy a wonderful property.Using that,we give partial answer of an open problem: if φ(x,y,z)=(f(x,y),g(x,y,z),z),which sends every linear coordinate to a coor-dinate,thenφis an automorphism of K[x,y,z].As a byproduct,we give an easy proof of the welt-known Jung’s Theorem.

    This paper is concerned with the existence of positive solutions of the following Dirichlet problem for p-mean curvature operator with critical exponent: ... is a bounded domain in RN(N>p>1)with smooth boundary Ω,2<=p<=q<=P*,P*=(Np)/(N-p),λ,P>0.It reaches the conclusions that this problem has at least one positive solution in the different cases.It is discussed the existences of positive solutions of the Dirichlet problem for the p-mean curvature operator with critical exponent by using Nehari-type duality property firstly.As p=2,q=p,the result is correspond to that of Laplace operator.

    A simple SI epidemic model with age of vaccination is discussed in this paper. Both varing birth rate,the mortality rate caused by disease and vaccine waning rate are considered in this model.We prove that the global dynamics is completely determined by the basic reproductive number R(Ψ)(Ψdenotes per capita vaccination rate).If R(0)<1, the disease-free equilibrium is a global attractor;If R(Ψ)<1,the disease-free equilibrium is locally asymptotically stable;If R(Ψ)>1,an unique endemic equilibrium exists and is locally asymptotically stable under certain condition.

    In this paper we mainly discuss the nonconforming finite element method for second order elliptic boundary value problems on anisotropic meshes.By changing the discretization form(i.e.,by use of numerical quadrature in the procedure of computing the left load),we obtain the optimal estimate O(h),which is as same as in the traditional finite element analysis when the load f∈H1(Ω)∩C0(Ω)which is weaker than the previous studies.The results obtained in this paper are also valid to the conforming triangular element and nonconforming Carey’s element.

    In this paper we introduce two sequences of operator functions and their dual functions: ... defined on (0,+∞). We find that they are all operator monotone functions with respect to the strictly chaotic order and some ordinary orders among positive invertible operators. Indeed, we extend the results of the operator monotone function (tlog t -t+1)/(log2t) which is widely used in the theory of heat transfer of the heat engineering and fluid mechanics [1].
