摘要： For a finite spectrum X,we prove the existence of a nonnilpotent element v in Ext(H*(X),H'(X))paralleled to the vanishing line which is a permanent cycle in the Adams spectral sequence.We use this result to give a proof of Margolis'construction of killing Pi-ho- mology groups,for all primes,in the category of bounded below spectra.
